Massey Ferguson was created with the merger between Massey-Harris and the Ferguson companies in 1952. The separate brands were retained until 1958, when the lines were merged and renamed Massey-Ferguson. AGCO purchased Massey Ferguson in 1994 and continues to use the name.
Massey Ferguson made several tractors whose success was widely recognized. One of their most popular models, MF35, was built in 1958 and sold across the United States, UK, Australia and Ireland. Its design came from the hugely popular 1955 Ferguson 35.
